Papercrafter Pen Cases and Personality Types: What Your Crafting Tools Say About You - Rachel The Turtle Journal

Papercrafter Pen Cases and Personality Types: What Your Crafting Tools Say About You

Let's have some fun exploring what these choices might reveal about our personalities!

As papercrafters, our tools and how we store them can say a lot about us. Just like our love for vintage stickers and patterned papers, our choice of pencil and pen cases can be a window into our crafting souls.

1. The Abundant Creator: "The Crafty Collector Who's Ready for Anything!"

You're not just a papercrafter; you're a walking craft store! Share if your case is a treasure trove of every tool and trinket.

You're the papercrafter who believes more is more! Your large and bulky case is brimming with every tool imaginable. From specialty scissors for those intricate vintage stickers to a spectrum of pens for every shading need, you're prepared for any project. This case suggests you're generous, resourceful, and always ready to dive into complex projects with enthusiasm.

The Turtle Journal curates vintage inspired papercrafting supplies - from Australia to your doorstep! Our range is small and deliberate, check out what is new from my crafting adventures here

2. The Elegant Organizer: "The Sleek Minimalist with a Touch of Vintage Charm"

Are you the crafter who finds beauty in the basics? This is for those who believe in 'less is more' with a vintage twist!

If your case is sleek and slimline, you're the epitome of 'less is more.' Your tools are carefully curated - a set of high-quality pens, a pair of precision scissors, and a selection of your favourite vintage-inspired washi tapes. This case reflects your organized, focused, and thoughtful approach to crafting. You value quality over quantity and find beauty in simplicity.

3. The Eclectic Visionary: "The Bold and Colourful Innovator of Crafting"

For the crafters whose pencil case is as vibrant and creative as their projects. Show off your eclectic side!

Is your pencil case a burst of colours and patterns, perhaps even adorned with vintage stickers? Then you're likely the Eclectic Visionary. Your case, a mix of practical tools and whimsical items, mirrors your imaginative and playful spirit. You find inspiration everywhere and aren't afraid to experiment with your craft.

I started The Turtle Journal in 2020, and am excited to now share warm, vintage inspired journalling and scrapbooking supplies with the world! We now ship to the US and UK - check out our sticker range here

4. The Detail-Oriented Artist: "Perfection in a Pencil Case – Detail Lovers Unite!"

You know that every detail matters in crafting and in life. If your case is a masterpiece, this one's for you!

For those who have customized their cases, adding personal touches or DIY elements, you're the Detail-Oriented Artist. Every aspect of your crafting, from the carefully chosen vintage paper to the way your tools are arranged, is a reflection of your meticulous and creative nature. Your case shows your commitment to personal expression and precision in your art.

5. The Versatile Innovator: "The Multi-Tasking Maven of Papercrafts"

You're the papercrafter who redefines versatility! If your pencil case doubles as your creative toolbox, complete with nail polish, let the world know.

Lastly, if your pencil case also doubles as something else (like a makeup bag), you're the Versatile Innovator. You love finding new ways to use everyday items, mirroring your approach to papercrafting. Your creativity knows no bounds, and you often incorporate unconventional materials into your vintage designs.

I’m definitely an Abundant Creator who, like Adrienne above, never knows when or what mood will take me. I take everything to camps incase I need it! I aspire have the Detail-Oriented case though…how beautiful is it? I just want to look at it!

Oh gosh, I don’t think I’m any of the above! I’m the partially organised ADD-er, who has more ideas than resources or time, and who looks like perpetual chaos on wheels to all onlookers! I did however, finish my first folio today. Good job, me! 😁

I’m the The Abundant Creator: “The Crafty Collector Who’s Ready for Anything!” for sure. The last time I went to a retreat, I took half the craft room, and that was after a cull before I went. I did over compensate, that’s for sure, but I just don’t know how the mood will take me.

Adrienne

You left out the ADD paper crafters!
