A Vintage Blue Dream - Deb’s Beautiful Layered Journal Spread

A Vintage Blue Dream - Deb’s Beautiful Layered Journal Spread

There’s something incredibly calming about soft blues, distressed textures, and thoughtfully layered details - and Deb has absolutely nailed it in this stunning journaling project created for The Turtle Journal.

Using a mix of patterned papers, dimensional stickers and vintage-inspired elements, Deb transformed her journal pages into a beautiful story of texture, depth, and old-world charm.

It’s the kind of spread that makes you want to slow down, grab your favourite supplies, and create just for the joy of it (no perfection required 😉).

✂️ The Creative Process

Deb began by building her background with the gorgeous French Blue Patterned Paper Pack, tearing and layering pieces to create that perfectly imperfect vintage look. The soft blues paired with distressed edges instantly give the pages character - like something pulled from an old journal found in a Parisian attic.

From there, she added dimension and storytelling with:

🐦 Elegant vintage-style details from the Victorian Alley Matte Sticker Set

The raised frames add beautiful depth, while the lamps, birdcage and ornate designs tie the whole spread together with a timeless European vibe.

And let’s talk about those little layered accents and torn kraft-style textures - chef’s kiss! 👌 They bring movement and warmth to the pages and balance the cool blue tones perfectly.
