Here at The Turtle Journal, I believe creativity should feel like play - not a performance.

I started this little shop in 2021 for the paper crafters, the journal keepers, the planner decorators, and the sticker hoarders who just want to sit down with their supplies and enjoy the process.

No rules. No pressure to make it perfect. Just you, your pages, and whatever inspires you today.

Back in the early 2000's I was into scrapbooking and stamping; and was an independent consultant for a well-known scrapbooking brand.

I loved the escape and calm stickers and papers gave me; and the joy of recording precious memories (sometimes just everyday ones too) was my reason for the creative pursuits and joy paper crafts brought me.

In 2017 I stumbled upon Bullet Journaling and fell in LOVE with the hybrid planning/crafting - creative play! I use planning with crafting and creating now in my daily life as a way of organising my life and goals - with the relaxing and pretty side of papers and stickers!

Even years later, I still know what it's like to stare at a blank spread and feel the weight of getting it "right."

That's exactly why everything I choose to carry is for beginners and explorers in mind - supplies that make it easier to layer, play, and actually finish your pages, so you can fill more journals and stress about them less.

Because stickers belong everywhere. Full stop :)

The Turtle Journal is for crafters who are still figuring it out, who have seventeen half-finished journals, and who believe the messy pages are sometimes the best ones.
